"Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world"
~ Robert McKee, Professor
Ryan C. Kolegas is a Chicago based cinematographer. He has been working in the midwest since 2008 exploring cinema commercially, politically, and narratively. Although every finished product is different, at the end of the day, its all storytelling.
Ryan has worked for businesses and organizations of all sizes shooting for fortune 500 companies like Verizon and McDonalds, to campaign spots for Dick Durbin and tourism videos for Choose Chicago. He has also produced videos for smaller non profit organizations such as ROW and Kaia String Quartet. With experience in many different industries including medical, musical, educational, and pharmaceutical, he enjoys diving into a unique story and sharing it for the world to see.
"Stories create community, enable us to see through the eyes of other people, and open us to the claims of others"
~ Peter Forbes, Photographer
In an effort to support the over 17,000 registered 501(c)3 non profit organizations in Chicago, RCK Productions was born.
Through digital cinema we will express your narrative and promote your organization with striking visuals and a voice you already know.
RCK Productions understands both the importance of video to an organization and the value that a well crafted product brings.
We strive to help...
From telling the story of your organization, to recruiting young go-getters, or perhaps raise awareness of the community projects you participate in, we are up for the task to get your story out there.
We are easy to work with...
Whether working alongside other production companies, with creative agencies, or direct with a client, the results are the same; a well crafted story ripe with emotion and content.
"Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but about the stories that you tell"
~ Seth Godin, Author
RCK Productions teamed up with RiversEdge West to capture the human spirit of riparian (riverside) restoration. In this video, we meet four individuals who are doing their part to keep our rivers healthy. Thanks to the help of RiversEdge West riparian lands in the Western United States are bouncing back and communities across the country are beginning to understand and value of our rivers.
